Merry Christmas

Rylee was dancing to some music in her Christmas hat. She can be such a performer when she wants to be.

Hair cut

Mason's hair was bugging both me and Justin. I should have taken a picture of the mullet he had in back but it just had to go so I took the cutters to him and now his hair is a little more even.

this is the before picture with dad.

This is the after picture. You really can't tell the difference but I can. Isn't he getting so chunky:)

Pumpkin time

Ry and dad are hard at work

Even Mason got to enjoy some pumpkin carving (doesn't he look excited about it)

Me and Syd having fun

Rylee is really excited (she always says that)

Who is who?

I thought I would post a few pictures of how Rylee and Mason look quite a bit alike.

fun times

Rylee talked daddy into playing with her. He was lucky enough to get a makeover, Ry called him her Gold Medal Beauty, who knows where they come with these things.

We have a nusery book that we have family home evening out of and there was a picture of someone getting a blessing in it so now she thinks that she has to give Justin blessings.

Doesn't he look sexy!!!

It's fall

Rylee helped Grandma Blair pick up the fall leaves. She probably made more of a mess then cleaning up but she had fun.

Growing

Mason is finally putting on the pounds and growing so fast. I've been kind of busy trying to learn how to take on two kids so I haven't got anything on here for a while so here we are.

took him outside for a few minutes so he could enjoy the fall weather.

doesn't he look all warm and ready for a nap.

A lazy day at home

Rylee, dad and Mason enjoying some tv time.

Rylee wanted to lay down by Mason. She looks so big next to him.

I didn't know a baby could smile so much. I don't think it is gas because he would be always having gas. We just love his smiles.

Baby boy Mason

Little Mason was born at 12:44 in the afternoon on Saturday the 12th. He shocked us all by only weighing 5 lbs and 15 oz (a lot small then his sister Rylee). He ended up being 9 days early. He is a good little boy and we are excited to have him here with us. Rylee thinks he is so cute and loves to give him hugs and kisses.

Just after he was born and cleaned up a bit.

Mason and mom's first picture together.

Mason and dad ready to go home from the hospital.

He looks so small in his carseat.
Rylee's first time holding Mason (you can tell she is really excited about it). They wouldn't let kids 13 and younger into the hospital so the first time Rylee got to see her little brother was at home and she could barely contain herself.

Photo shoot of a sleeping little guy.

He looks so peaceful.

His first wipe down.

The Garden

We decided to try a garden this year but we didn't expect much to grow because we have really bad clay soil. But we had an awesome neighbor bring us in some top soil and we tilled it and planted our little seeds and this is what we got. I think it turned out pretty good.

This is our Corn and potatoes.

Here is our lettuce, peas, and beets

I decided Ry would like to see sunflowers so we are waiting for them and then our pumpkins are taking over the garden.

Swimming at Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake for the day and Ry had a good time.

Rylee called us all Beach Babes but these are the only two that looked the part

Or you can call these two beach babes if you want to

The Cabin

We finally made it over to Wyoming and enjoyed some time at the cabin. Rylee had a blast. She loves spending time in the mountains.

This looks a little scary to me.

Rylee loves hiking and exploring.

The whole family going on a hike.

Dad and Ry tried fishing but the river was to fast.

Rylee loves to throw rocks in the river.

Things Rylee Loves

Rylee has a few new things she likes to do. We have to go out everyday, that it is warm, and climb a dirt hill we have in our yard. We've decided we don't need to get a playset she has just as much fun on the hill as she could on any swing or slide.

Then to relaxe she has to get in her bed with all of her stuffed animals and dolls. She loves to be surrounded by the ones she loves. Can you pick Rylee out of the bunch?

Spring Break

Justin had the week off so we decided to get out of the snow and head down south for a few days. We ended up staying in St. George. It was a little cool in the mornings and evenings but all you needed was a jacket and by the middle of the day you didn't even need that. We had a great time getting out and going on hikes and seeing the sights. Rylee was a trooper and loved the hiking part she had to do it all on her own, she thought that she was Dora the Explorer. But we had a good time as a family and were so glad that we went and got to spend time with each other in the beautiful outdoors.

Justin and Ry in a cave

One of Rylee's favorite things to do is throw rocks in the water. I think she could have done that all day long.

Here we are at the end of the trail and we are throwing more rocks.

Climing on the rocks

Justin and Rylee playing in the pool

Soaking the feet in the hot tub

We went to the sand dunes and played. These two got good at building sand castles.

up and over the hill.

Cheese!!!

Then we climbed a few rocks.
